Trina Wintch
Trina is a fully credentialed Special Education teacher and Reading Specialist with eighteen years of teaching experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Language and Literacy. Her training and experience includes the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to reading and spelling instruction.
In addition to working privately with students, Trina is a Lecturer in the Elementary Education Department at San Francisco State University, teaching K-12 Literacy Instruction to students working towards their Education Specialist credentials. She is also an active member of the International Dyslexia Association.
Trina is available for one-on-one sessions at her office in Albany and for pull-out sessions during the school day at school sites in the Albany area. She is also available for literacy assessments, teacher trainings and consultation with parents navigating the IEP process.
